Ten Premier League players have been nominated for the 2024 Ballon d'Or. In total, four Premier League clubs have at least one player up for the award, after the 30-man shortlist was revealed on Wednesday.
Arsenal and Manchester City lead the way with four nominees each, Martin Odegaard, Declan Rice, William Saliba and Bukayo Saka from the Gunners, with Ruben Dias, Phil Foden Erling Haaland and Rodri recognised from current Premier League Champions Man City.
Chelsea star Cole Palmer is also on the shortlist, along with Aston Villa goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez. Those nominees will be seeking to become only the third Premier League player to win the award, after Liverpool's Michael Owen in 2001 and Cristiano Ronaldo for Man Utd in 2008.
The winners will be revealed during a ceremony on 28 October at the Theatre du Chatelet in Paris.
Other big names also recognised Martinez is also seeking to win the prestigious Yashin Trophy, awarded to the best goalkeeper, for the second year in a row, while Man City manager Pep Guardiola is nominated for the Men's Team Coach of the Year Trophy.
Manchester United pair Alejandro Garnacho and Kobbie Mainoo, along with Man City winger Savinho, are nominated for the Kopa Trophy, awarded to the best player under the age of 21. The prize was won by current Man Utd defender Matthijs de Ligt in 2019 while playing for Juventus.
Man City are also one of five clubs nominated for the Men's Club of the Year, an award they are looking to win for a third consecutive year.
